Come and Play!
We're hosting a fun afternoon for little ones and their whānau, with a children's clothes, toys and books swap.
Join us for an afternoon of play, connection and conversation with other families in the Down syndrome community.
Whether you're new to WDSA or have been part of our community for years, we'd love to see you there.
Date: Saturday 15 August 2026
Time: 1pm to 3pm
Who: Children aged 0 to 6 years with Down syndrome and their whānau
Where: Waterloo Playcentre, Hardy Street, Waterloo, Lower Hutt
This is a relaxed opportunity for children to play while parents, caregivers and whānau connect, share experiences and get to know one another.
What to bring
A small plate to share for afternoon tea.
Any clean, good quality children's clothes, toys or books your family no longer needs. You're welcome to take home anything that might be useful for your family, and any items left at the end of the afternoon will be donated so they can continue to be enjoyed.
Please note: Waterloo Playcentre is a nut-free environment. Balloons, gladwrap, foil confetti and glitter are also not permitted, so please don't bring these items with you.
See you there! 💜🧡
