Have your say on oral health services for disabled children and young people

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is reviewing oral health services for disabled children and young people, and wants to hear from families, whānau and disabled young people about their experiences.

Whether you've had positive experiences or faced challenges accessing dental care, your feedback can help inform recommendations to improve oral health services for disabled children and young people across Aotearoa New Zealand.

There are several opportunities to take part, including online hui for parents and whānau from anywhere in New Zealand, as well as online and face-to-face hui for disabled young people aged 13 to 17 years. The face-to-face hui will be held in Palmerston North.

Topics include:

• Finding and accessing dental and oral health services.

• What makes a good experience.

• Barriers to getting care.

• What changes would make the biggest difference for disabled children, young people and their families.
